What else gives the feeling of security and happiness than being with our friends? And what more if they are ones with whom you have spent your school life, sharing everything and enjoying the brightest days of our lives. Out of our school, we get a feeling of insecurity and pangs of pain in the new world that lies ahead of us. Our heart is pulled back by the nostalgic memories of our school life

To share those feelings and to be in the laps of our very own alma mater; the result of the feelings of many, the works of a few dedicated hearts, here is the Alumni Association of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Puranattukara, Thrissur. Apart from this many of us would feel that sense of gratitude that every one of us owe to this prestigious institution in molding ourselves to what we are now. Here is an opportunity to be a part of the activities involved with our Vidyalaya and to participate in the efforts to support the commitment of the Vidyalaya to excel in its academic and extracurricular programs.

The Kendriya Vidyalaya Alumni Association was established on 26 January 2006. An ad-hoc committee of eleven members was constituted in a meeting held at school after the Republic Day celebrations and was in office till the first Annual General Body (AGB) meeting in December, 2006. The first meeting of the Kendriya Vidyalaya Alumni Association (KVAA), Puranattukara, Thrissur was convened by Sri. Sanil Kumar (Librarian), Sri. Harishanker (PGT Hindi) and Sri. Rajesh (TGT English), as directed by the then Principal, Sri. V T Devassy, which saw the birth of this organization. The Association is managed by an Executive Committee of eleven members.
