 STAFF TRAINING COURSES- 23.04.09-02.05.09
OVERNIGHT CAMP HELD FOR PRATHAM AND DWITIYA SOPAN 21st, 22nd FEB 2009
99 Scouts and 74 Guides participated in the Camp started on 21st Feb 2009 at 9’O0Clock. It was inaugurated by Mr Parameswaran, ALT Scout.
Different bases were made and scouts and Guides were tested for various activities. Sing song sessions and games session was also included.
Scouts and Guides enthusiastically participated in the camp fire, which was held after the dinner.
On 22nd Feb after the BP exercise kit inspection was held and announced the prizes for the best one.
At 7’OClock All faith prayer was conducted in connection with Thinking Day
Then competitions were held on ‘Pageantry Show’Themes from the movement) for scouts and cultural Awareness for guides.
The camp came to an end at 11o’Clock.
THINKING DAY – 22.02.2009
Thinking Day celebration started with “All Faith Prayer” at 7 am.
It was followed by a talk on the importance of the day by Mr. Harishankar
After that competitions were held for scouts and Guides
Scouts – Pageantry Show(themes from the movement)
Guides – Cultural Awareness (any state from India)
Winners were given Prizes.
 
Activities
8th Sept 2008World Literacy Day : S & G of this vidyalaya visited Mar Kundukulam Orphange. The inmates are HIV affected children.
18th Sept 2008Rally Conducted spreading the message of peace.
28th to 30th Sept 2008TSPL Camp at KV I palakkad. 20 S&G participated
2nd Oct 2008Gandhi Jayanthi. All faith prayer was conducted. Cleaning of School campus and near by housing colony was taken up by S & G.
30th Oct to 01st Nov 2008TSPL Camp was conducted in the vidyalaya. 09 schools participated.

 The scout and Guide meeting was held on 31st July 2008 under the guidance of Principal,

District Commissioner (G). Following decisions were taken during the meeting

1. The no. of meeting upto June should be 5 nos.

2. Pravesh Test and Investiture should be completed by July 31

3. The time gap between each sopans should be kept correctly and a minimum of two troop meetings

should be done in each month.

4. It was decided to have Cubs and Bulbuls Utsav in the month of November 08

5. Hiroshima day/Sadbhavana day is to be celeberated in August 20th 2008
